Armand de Brignac announces release of first Vintage Champagne

28 Nov, 2024

October 16th, 2024 – Armand de Brignac Champagne announced its latest exclusive-prestige cuvée: the Blanc de Noirs Vintage 2015. This release mirrors the perfect blend between the art of winemaking and craftsmanship.

The Journey of a Vintage

The 2015 growing season in the Champagne region was marked by contrasts— a wet spring followed by a warm, dry summer. The quality of the fruit, particularly the red grape varieties, flourished in despite the adverse circumstances. The outcome? Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes that are among the best in recent years.

The 2015 Blanc de Noirs Vintage is made up of 30% Pinot Meunier from Chigny les Roses, Rilly la Montagne, and Ludes, and 70% Pinot Noir from esteemed Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards including Mailly and Verzenay. This well chosen mix pushes the bounds of creativity while embodying the rich history of champagne blending.
