The Annual London Wine Fair rolled into town this week (May 18th-20th), just in time for London Wine Week (May 18th-24th). The Winerist Team was out in force to discover the biggest things coming out of the wine industry.
The fair is one of the world’s leading wine trade events and has been running every year since 1981. Each year it brings all sorts of people from the wine industry together for three days. Last year over 11,000 trade visitors from 80 countries attended to taste more than 10,000 wines from all corners of the globe!
Co-Founder, Tatiana Livesey gave a great presentation on Why Wine and Food Tourism Matters which you can view below.
We were also short-listed for Drinks Business’s “Best Contribution to Wine & Spirits Tourism” award. Unfortunately we were pipped to the post by the well-deserving Italian company, Zonin 1821. Congrats to them and we’ve got our fingers crossed for next year!
