Louis Roederer has been crowned the “World’s Most Admired Champagne Brand” by Drinks International for an unprecedented sixth consecutive year — a testament to its unwavering excellence and innovation.

For the sixth year in a row, Louis Roederer has been named the “World’s Most Admired Champagne Brand” by Drinks International — an achievement unmatched in the history of this prestigious ranking. The annual list celebrates the most respected Champagne Houses, and Louis Roederer’s consistent excellence and dedication to sustainable viticulture have once again secured it the top spot.

This remarkable honour reflects more than just popularity — it speaks to the Champagne House’s relentless pursuit of quality, innovation, and respect for terroir. “Getting to the top of the pile is quite an achievement,” noted wine journalist Giles Fallowfield. “Staying there for six consecutive years is another level of challenge, requiring constant vigilance, unwavering investment and a real capacity for innovation.”

Commitment to Quality and Sustainability

The award reflects Louis Roederer’s dedication to sustainable viticulture and the expertise passed down through generations. CEO Frédéric Rouzaud highlighted the team’s ongoing efforts to refine their craft while respecting the environment.

“A rare achievement that reflects

a continuous quest for excellence”

Celebrating 50 Years of Cristal Rosé

A highlight of this achievement is the 50th anniversary of Cristal Rosé, the House’s iconic cuvée first crafted in 1974 by Jean-Claude Rouzaud. To mark the occasion, a vertical tasting of Cristal Rosé’s finest vintages was held at La Tour d’Argent in Paris and other prestigious venues worldwide — a fitting tribute to the exceptional longevity of this legendary Champagne.

A Legacy of Excellence

Founded in 1776, Louis Roederer remains one of the last great family-owned Champagne Houses. Its historic vineyards span 250 hectares, including 135 hectares certified organic, a testament to the House’s deep-rooted connection to the land. Under the guidance of cellar master Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon, Louis Roederer continues to balance tradition with innovation — a rare recipe for sustained excellence in the world of Champagne.
