Glenmorangie Signet

20 Nov, 2018

Situated in the Scottish Highlands and inspired by these exact surroundings, Glenmorangie has committed to crafting single malt whisky since 1843. Through dedication and knowledge handed down through generations, the ‘men of Tain’ that produce this whisky continue their quest for perfection and smoothness among their products. Well known for their limited-edition whiskies with interesting cask finishes, the Glenmorangie Signet is something a little different. Twice distilled in Glenmorangie’s tall, copper stills before ageing in virgin American oak for many years, the Signet was made partly with chocolate malt barley, partly with single estate Cadboll barley. The emblem on the bottle is a detail taken from a pictish stone found very close to the distillery.

Taste

The Glenmorangie Signet seduces with aromatic notes of fruity orange citrus and chocolate. Warming and smooth on the finish, with flavours of bitter mocha and spice.
