Lagavulin celebrated their bicentenary in 2016 and holds a history unseen in many other brands. Carrying its home of Islay at its core, the 16 year-old Lagavulin is known as the ultimate benchmark Southern Islay whisky, thanks to its incredibly smoky, peaty flavour. Aged in oak casks for at least 16 years, this is arguably the most famous single malt whisky in the world.

The Lagavulin 16 year-old knocks you out with its wood smoke and seaweed nose, followed by sweeter flavours of fruit, figs and vanilla from the oak. Powerful and polished; not a whisky that’s easily ignored.
