A wine that has a mild perceptible sweetness is considered ‘off-dry’ or ‘semi-dry’. That is the classification after ‘dry’ (0-8gr residual sugar per litre) while ‘off-dry’ has 9-18gr / litre of sugar. Examples can be Riesling or extra-dry Champagne.
